Android is an OS for Mobile platform based on Linux kernel, which is developed by Google firstly, and later by open handset alliance. It adopts software stack structure.
Linux is an Unix-like OS which is free to be used and transmitted, which is mainly used on Intelx86 platform computers. In terms of background, Linux is developed based on a relatively mature OS, and for others OS, such as WindowsNT, they are self-developed, and no OS can be relied on. Regarding of openness, Linux is a free software for developing source code, while Unix just a traditional commercial software that protects the source code of intellectual property rights, which is the main difference between them.
Windows10 was firstly released in Oct, 2014, and Windows showed the system in the new product launch conference. One point worth to be mentioned, the Windows Hello can be logged in not only through fingerprint, but also face recognition or iris scanning. This technology enables industrial tablets to transition from the mouse and keyboard era to the touch era. At the same time, it also provides a dedicated tablet mode, the start menu and applications will run in full-screen mode. If set properly, the system will automatically switch between tablet and desktop mode. Of course, this can only be achieved by a tablet computer, and a desktop computer does not have this function.
Windows CE is the newest member in Windows family, which is professional for HPC. Such an operating system can integrate the complete portable technology with the existing Windows desktop technology.
